Financial & Procurement Systems Officer
The role would be to support the management and development of financial and procurement applications. Some of the key responsibilities include:
*Assist in the development of key financial and procurement applications.
*Support with management of high quality systems helpdesk, ensuring support and advice is available to all users.
*Perform regular audits of data in the system and comply with audit recommendations.
*Identify areas of improvement for the department.
The candidate that we are looking for will have good MS Outlook and Office applications skills, have an NVQ Level 4 or equivalent knowledge and experience as well as general ledger software experience. An understanding of the principles of information processing are also essential. We are also looking for someone who has good communication skills and can forge relationships with senior management and to be able to liaise with staff.
We are looking for a team player able to follow procedures accurately, quickly grasping systems and concepts and to be able to work to deadlines but also to be flexible in dealing with the demands of the role.
