My creative, quirky client is looking for an Accounts Assistant with full knowledge and experience of sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control, ready to start a long term career in the finance world, with great training courses in place within a trendy office in North London.

JOB ROLE: Accounts Assistant

COMPANY: Global Promotion Company

HOURS: 9am - 6pm

SALARY: up to 25k

LOCATION: London

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

  • knowledge and expierence of sales ledger - (adding details to system -> processing sales invoices, resolving invoice discrepancies, cash allocation)
  • knowledge and expierence purchase ledger (Recording purchase invoices)
  • knowledge and expierence credit control - monitoring aged debt and chasing where appropriate
  • Monthly credit card reconciliations
  • Weekly bank reconciliations
  • Dolphin monthly reconciliations
  • Sending Out customer statements
  • Creating new customer/supplier accounts
  • Updating customer/ supplier accounts

  • Admin tasks:

  • Checking canteen supply levels
  • ordering stationery
  • filing
  • taking deliveries
  • answering incoming calls
  • preparing room for meetings
  • customer service (meeting & greeting clients)
