Asset Planning Manager
*Lead on the effective and efficient management and accuracy of all information relating to the housing stock and assets across Thirteen so that optimum use of assets can be achieved. Create 5 year investment plans aligned with appropriate data which reflect the needs of the stock and the strategic objectives outlined within the organisations strategies
*Provide team leadership, support and guidance to all staff working within the Asset Planning team
*Assist with the continuing development of the Asset Management Strategy
*Lead on the development, maintenance and review of all information relating to theasset portfolio
*Assist in the effective management of assets, development of new initiatives and service standards
*Work collaboratively with key senior members of staff across Thirteen to ensure asset management is successfully delivered for all aspects of the business
*Ensure appropriate use of the 30 year plan, distilling information into 5 year annual investment plans.
*Provide analysis of data to make best use of properties, individual stock viability and land use options
*Ensure stock conditional information is maintained for all assets and links into responsive cyclical and programmed maintenance records to identify current condition and future requirements
*Contribute to the planning for and subsequent collation of the organisations current stock management and information systems into a single IT based Stock Condition and Asset Management System (Promaster).
*Assist the Senior Strategic Asset Manager in researching new legislation and recommending changes to policy and procedure to ensure the Asset Management Strategy achieves all objectives and fulfils the strategic requirements
*Research and understand Groups policies in regard to Environment, Energy; and Diversity & Equality etc
*Communicate with Property & Investment and ensure the requirements of the current plan are being achieved
*Demonstrable knowledge of asset management legislation, systems, procedures and requirements e.g. DHS, code for sustainable homes etc
*Knowledge of good practice in asset management planning with regard to long term maintenance strategies and business planning
*Ability to interpret large volumes of data, identifying property trends and business solutions
*Strategy & policy development is desirable but not essential
*Effective use of IT and media as appropriate
*Good understanding of value for money principles
*Ability to analyse and solve complex problems
*Able to prioritise to achieve realistic targets, costs and time deadlines
