HTML Front End Developer
Our client is a leading worldwide automotive organisation who have been around for more than 100 years.
As part of THE continued growth and commitment to providing customers with the best possible digital experiences, they are looking to hire a new frontend developer into our team.
They are looking for a self-motivated individual with a desire to solve complex and challenging problems. You should be passionate about your work and have an appetite for personal development, expanding upon your current knowledge base.
You will be responsible for building, improving, and maintaining our main customer facing websites, as well as our key purchasing journeys and self serve membership management applications.
As a productive member of a large development team you will be expected to attend daily stand-ups and communicate your progress within the sprint, working closely with other developers, UX consultants, and UI designers
Skills & Knowledge & Qualifications
-HTML - Ability to write semantic modular HTML with BEM class naming
-CSS / SCSS - Ability to interpret designs and write modular stylesheets
-Automation - Experience with frontend build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, and Webpack
-Version Control - Working in a large team of frontend and backend developers means a good understanding of branching in Git is necessary, and an awareness of how your work affects the wider project
-UX / UI - An appreciation of the importance of design and customer experience is key to being successful in your role
