Police Helpdesk Officer
Helpdesk Officers are the first point of contact for the public attending a Police Station and are expected to respond to the public's requests, managing expectations and reassuring them that we are here for them when needed most.
What Does the Job Entail?
Helpdesk Officers undertake a variety of challenging roles including but not restricted to recording incidents, crime recording, releasing of vehicles seized for no insurance and the registration of sex offenders.
Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills, have the capability to work both independently and as part of a team and finally be able to remain calm under pressure in a variety of situations.
You will be working a fixed shift pattern covering 7 days.
A full training package will be provided to successful applicants. This will involve in house and classroom based training.
The successful applicant must pass a thorough background check.
