Role: Goods Inwards Inspector
Duration: 6 months
Shift: Night Shift (start on days then transfer to nights)

Role Summary:
To support the day to day processing of incoming Parts & Raw Material, in line with corporate procedures and health and safety guidelines
The successful candidate will join the Materials Management Team and be responsible for supporting requirements to achieve customer satisfaction, quality, delivery & cost, alongside Industry specific targets.

Duties include:
*Meet & Greet Personnel to Central GI, Sign for & be accountable for deliveries received
*Unload Deliveries from carriers using relevant manual handling equipment
*Sort & segregate material in preparation for processing
*Liaise with site services, FLT where necessary on a daily basis.
*Verify components & quantities are correct to PO.
*Receive & book in items using SAP, & label adhering to relevant procedures.
*Liaise with appropriated personnel with in the business to achieve efficient booking in.
*Ensure all items are moved to the required areas of the business in a timely manner.
*Record retention & filing in-line with corporate guidelines.
*Assist in any quality or customer related audits when required.
*Maintain good house- keeping and a high level of 5s.
*Participate in ACE Events, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions as required.
*Participate in training as required to ensure compliance with all necessary regulatory/corporate legislative requirements.
*Work in others areas of the Materials Management Group, Kitting, Stocktaking, and Dispatch.

*Flexible with a willingness to work as part of a team.
*Reliable, good timekeeping with a "can do" attitude.
*High level of attention to detail.
*Responsive to change i.e.; ACE
*Good communication skills (telephone/email)
*Good Organisational, Time Management skills.
*Able to work under pressure
*Computer literate, Competency in SAP - Training Provided
*Able to work on own initiative and make decisions.
*Calm under pressure and responsive to change
*Demonstrable problem solving abilities
*Ability to read engineering drawing's, micrometers & verniers
*Preferably time served apprentice in Engineering
