Customer Service & Administration Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and customer focused candidate for a Customer Service & Administration Assistant to join a stable and successful company based in Bridgwater, Somerset.
This is a full time role working 38 hours per week Monday to Friday with a salary of £18,500-£19,500 PA DOE. Our client are in the manufacturing industry, they build their products on side and distribute it throughout the UK. It would be an advantage if you have worked within manufacturing previously.
This role requires an exceptional communicator with the ability to coordinate several different departments to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations.
You will be dealing with both customers and suppliers on a daily basis so you will need the ability to work under pressure at times. You will need to be proactive and be able to push work forward to completion stage.
You will be responsible for a number of clients and their orders. An eye for detail is also important to be able to spot any errors with mailings.
This role is very varied and will include:
- Answering the phone
- Order processing
- Organising returns and collections
- Creating Quotations
- Problem resolving (customer service)
- Liaising with transport and stock control
- Contacting suppliers for quotes and purchase ordering
- Taking payments for cash customers
Good I.T skills are essential with MS Office. They also use Sage, training will be provided but if you have previous Sage experience that would be an advantage.
