Title: Business Affairs Manager, EMEA Marketing

The role:
Responsible for securing rights clearances in connection with the marketing of Web and Mobile Apps, Images, Music, Doodles and other third party content. This content is used in global marketing communications.

The marketing team:

Partner with Product Marketing Managers to advise and secure right clearances in connection with the marketing of any products or projects (including advertising, integrated marketing, live events, Doodles, etc).
Work with EMEA marketing teams to support the internationalization of projects such as websites and videos. Manage the tracking of assets & rights held by these elements.
Partner with legal teams drafting and overseeing execution of legal documents to maintain marketing databases (custom contracts, contract terms, research repositories, renewals), answer queries from the business regarding contract terms, and collaborating with legal team on contract execution and process.
Oversee operational policies and procedures for tracking, maintaining and updating legal documentation and records.

Required Qualifications:
Extensive up-to-date industry knowledge on licensing issues in a wide variety of media, including digital, social, interactive and experiential.
Capacity to communicate legal feedback in simple terms for non-legal teams.
Highly motivated self-starter.
Capacity to rapidly adapt to change in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
Highly collaborative, with strong communication and influencing skills, and a creative problem solver.
