We are looking for an experienced Regional Health and Safety Manager to look after all aspects of Health and Safety for our network of warehouses in the South East of England.

About the Job...

*To undertake the Health and Safety Audits of the depots within your remit which will require both day and nightime audits.
*To take responsibility of the Health and Safety, including compliance with all Company procedures, statutory requirements and implementation of Health and Safety initiatives and training in your remit.
*To liaise with all levels of management, staff and contractors.
*To liaise with external agencies such as HSE, Consultants, Police, Fire and Local Authorities.
*To ensure that P.A.T and 5 Year Electrical Testing's are scheduled and carried out accordingly in your remit.
*To monitor all depots within your remit in regards to compliance and training.
*To monitor and ensure that all depots in your remit perform twice yearly fire evacuation drills and that risk assessments are in place and up to date.
*To ensure that any Portable Fire Fighting Equipment in your remit is compliant, sited correctly and that regular maintenance is performed and that records are correctly kept.
*To monitor and action any points that may arise in any depot within your remit through depot works committee meetings in regards to Health and Safety.
*To conduct and produce weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports for senior management on statistical Health and Safety information and compliance/non-compliance for the depots you will be responsible for.
*To ensure personal injury and vehicle accident procedures are followed in line with Company policy.

*Must be flexible regarding working hours to ensure that the needs of the business are met.
*Must be willing to travel which will involve staying away from home.
*A team member who is willing to help and foster good practices to ensure continued improvement in Health & Safety practices.
*NEBOSH certification will be required to fulfil this role.
*Must be able to converse on all levels and manage change processes.
*Must be self motivated and show strength in managing their day to day activities.
*Strong communication and reporting skills are required; therefore MS Office Skills are required.
