Job Summary and Purpose of an Exam Invigilator
As an Examination Invigilator you will be responsible for organisation of examination venues, collection of examination scripts, processing of examination paperwork, dealing with students with special needs and ensuring the University Examination Regulations are adhered to at all times.
Successful Exam Invigilators will be required to work between Monday 16th to Friday 27th January. The hours of work will be between 4 and 35 hours per week.
Hourly rate of £9.75
Successful applicants must be available to attend an assessment beforehand and a training session on Tuesday 10th January.

Organisation of the Examination Venue
Distribution Answer Booklets
Distribution of Examination Papers
Communicate with examination candidates, as appropriate
Instruction and monitoring of candidates as they enter the examination venue
Explain examination key information to examination candidates
Ensure the examination begins at the advertised time
Be vigilant during the examination monitoring the room for illness, cheating and other irregularities
Deal with emergencies such as illness or fire evacuation.
Be familiar with examination procedures to enable the efficient management of the examinations
Collect examination scripts from students at the end of each examination
